Fade Fernando’s Picks from God 12.26.20
Howdy and welcome back to the infamous Fade Fernando’s Picks from God. We hope everyone had a very merry Christmas with loved ones and family. Although the Picks posted a 5-4 record last weekend, they were a complete and total failure due to the loss of our God’s Ultimate Promise pick. Let’s hope for a more prosperous weekend this go around. Sadly, the slate of college football games has dwindled so it’s time we focus our efforts on the college basketball season. So without further ado, here are the infamous Fade Fernando’s Picks from God.
Saturday December 26, 2020
Men’s College Basketball
Houston (-8) at UCF
UCF is last in the conference in rebounding margin, whereas Houston leads the conference in rebounding margin. The Cougars also have a dynamic offense. They should pull away late on the road.
Ohio State (-3.5) at Northwestern
The Buckeyes are led by Duane Washington Jr. and E.J. Liddell who have been offensive stars thus far this season.
Gonzaga (-8.5) at Virginia
Gonzaga has been dominating each and every one of their opponents so far. They should do the same against a Cavaliers team that lost to San Francisco earlier in the year.
Kentucky at Louisville (-4.5)
Kentucky is BAD.
Phoenix Suns at Sacramento Kings (+3.5)
The Kings knocked off the Nuggets and have plenty of young talent. They match up well against the Suns.
San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals (-5)
The 9ers are coming off a loss to the Cowboys. Now-a-days, good offense beats good defense in the NFL. Take Kyler and the Cardinals.
Liberty (+7) v. Coastal Carolina
Liberty would be undefeated other than a 1 point loss to North Carolina State. They should keep it close against the Chanticleers.
Tuesday December 29, 2020
Oklahoma State (-2.5) v. Miami
Miami will be missing several starters on defense. While OK St. will be missing RB Chuba Hubbard, they have still managed to run the ball very well in his absence.
Texas(-9) v. Colorado
Death, taxes, and the Longhorns in the Alamo Bowl. The Horns just can’t escape mediocrity. Luckily for them, the Buffaloes aren’t any better. Take the Horns in their element.
Wednesday December 30, 2020
Wake Forest (+7) v. Wisconsin
Wisconsin has been highly overrated this entire season. The value is on the Demon Deacons in this one.
As always, thanks for reading. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
