Picks from God 9.25.2021
Howdy and welcome back to another edition of the infamous Picks from God. An abysmal performance last weekend now has our record at 4-7. At this point, we have as much vision and clarity as Denzel Washington in Flight. Nevertheless, we’re a glutton for punishment. So, without further ado here are the infamous Picks from God.
Saturday September 25
Notre Dame (+6.5)* vs. Wisconsin (Game at Soldier Field)
As you all know, I typically don’t have the luck of the Irish when betting on Notre Dame. And while I don’t think Notre Dame is worth anything this season, I think they keep this game within a field goal.
Clemson at NC State (+10)*
Clemson has underperformed each game this season and there is no reason why they should be double-digit favorites on the road.
Nebraska at Michigan State (-5)*
Both teams are coming off solid performances. However, I think Nebraska is being overvalued after last weekend’s tough loss to Oklahoma. MSU has looked great all year and they should win this one by a couple touchdowns.
Southern Miss at Alabama (1H -24)*
Yes, Alabama looked vulnerable. But they should come out of the gates swinging as Saban tries not to have an aneurysm on the sidelines.
Akron (+49.5)* at Ohio State
The Buckeyes are beyond useless right now as they barely squeaked past a winless Tulsa team. No way they should be favored by nearly 50 points.
West Virginia (+17) at Oklahoma
Oklahoma was far from superb last weekend and that appears to be the norm as we head into Week 4. The Mountaineers are always a tough out and they should keep it close.
